FIRST NCA NOTIFICATION FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED
Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after 'ONE
TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile.

The above vacancies are now in existence. Separate Ranked Lists will be published for each
subject mentioned in this notification. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid
until Blind and Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates are advised and appointed against the
vacancies earmarked for them but remains unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of
the ranked list published for the posts.

(Recruitment from Blind candidates (for the post under serial no.1) and Orthopaedically
Handicapped candidates (for the post under serial no.2) only)
Note: Application submitted by candidates other than blind and Orthopaedically Handicapped
candidates for the respective posts will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memos will
not be sent to them.
6. Age : 22-40 . Only candidates, born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1990(both
dates included) are eligible to apply.
Age relaxation up to 15 years will be granted to the blind and 10 years to
the orthopaedically handicapped persons
Note:- The above relaxation in upper age limit are available subject to the condition that the maximum
age limit shall in any case not exceed 50 (fifty) years.
7 Qualifications
(1) Master's Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent
and good academic record.
(2) Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted
for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this
behalf. When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be given to those candidates
who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note:-(i) For SC/ST Candidates minimum 50% marks for Master's Degree shall be sufficient.

(ii) For Ph.D Holders who have passed Master’s Degree Prior to 19.9.1991 50% marks for
master’s Degree Shall be sufficient. (GO (MS) No: 2/07/H.Edn. Dated 4-1-2007)
(iii) Candidates who have obtained ‘Ph.D’ Degree in the subject concerned or have passed
M.Phil Degree in the subject concerned by 31-12-1993 are exempted from passing the
NET examination ( GO (P) NO. 123/02/H.Edn. Dated 17/9/2002, GO. (MS)No
86/07/H.Edn. Dated 19/6/07
(iv) For recruitment to various posts under these rules Degrees awarded by the Universities
recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
8. Method of submitting Applications :
Candidates shall register by 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' on the Official Website of Kerala
Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' before applying for the post. Those who have
registered can apply by logging in to their profile by using their User- ID and password. Candidates
must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts on the Notification link to apply for a post.
No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have the print-out of details on the profile if
required by clicking on the link Registration Card. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of
the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure
correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further
communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and can not be deleted or
altered after submission. The Applications will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the
notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove Qualification, experience ,
community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for .
