Note: (1)
1. Candidates shall apply through online only, provided in the website of Kerala Public
Service Commission. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected.
Applications are available in the website of the KPSC viz. www.keralapsc.org.
2. Separate ranked lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification.
The ranked lists thus prepared and published by the commission shall remain in force
for a minimum period of one year subject to the condition that said lists will continue to
be in force till the publication of new lists, after the expiry of the minimum period of
one year or till the expiry of 3 years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for
appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies if any,
reported during the currency of the lists.
3. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notiifcation.
If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected, his/her
name will be removed from the ranked lists and diciplinary action will be taken against
him/her. Candidates should submit the applications for this post to the concerned
District Office, where the vacancy is existing, and should note the name of that district
against the relevant column in the application.
4. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis
subject to the Special conditions laid down in G O (MS) No.154/71/PD dated
27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue district from the
ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes
5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former
district. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rule in G O
(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates alreadyt in Govt. Service holding this
post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can
apply to higher posts when notified.
5. Method of appointment : Direct recruitment
6. Age limit : 18 – 41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and
01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply
for this post, with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC.
NOTE:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum
agelimit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions
under Part II of this notiication.
7. Qualification
1. General : Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification specified in the General rules.
2. Technical: Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course of 18 months duration),
issued by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council
OR
Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery certificate
(Revised course) issued by an Authority recognized by the Indian Nursing
Council.
OR
Health Workers training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives
Council.
3. Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
Note:- (1) In the case of candidates belonging to Scheculed Tribe, General Educational qualification
will be relaxed and a pass in Std VIII shall be sufficient subject to the conditions that, the
relaxation will be allowed only in the absence of fully qualified Scheculed Tribe candidates
and to the extent necessary for filling up the quota reserved for Scheculed Tribe candidates
alone.
(2) In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Class, the
General Educational qualification will be relaxed as 'Completed SSLC Course' (failed candidates
are also eligible), Subject to the condition that this relaxation will be allowed only to the extent
necessary to fill up the quota reserved for Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Class in the
absence of qualified candidates in the Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Class Communities
respectively.
(3) Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.
(4) Concession for PH candidates contemplated in para 2&5 of the General Condition are not
applicable for selection to this post.
8. Mode of submitting application:
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website
of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who
have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password.
Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for
applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the
details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for
the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post,
candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID
for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as
provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted
not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to
prove qualification, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.

11. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, hall ticket of eligible candidates
