Note:- The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the
Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three
years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force, if a new list after the expiry of the
minimum period of one year is published. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for
the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment (for ST only)during the currency of the list.
5 Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled
Tribes only).
Note:- Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected.
Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be
issued.
6 Age Limit : 20-46 Only Candidates born between 02.01.1966 and 01.01.1992
(including both the dates) are eligible to apply for this post. (No other age
relaxation will be allowed)
Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be
relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
7 Qualifications:
1. A pass in Bachelor Degree in Engineering in the branch concerned after undergoing a
regular course of study from a recognized University.
2. Minimum of three years experience in teaching as Lecturer in Government/ Government
aided or AICTE approved Polytechnic Colleges.

Note:- 1. Please specify the post held or nature of assignment as Casual Labourer, Paid/unpaid
Apprentice /Regular Worker or Temporary Worker.
2. All Experience Certificate shall be duly certified by the concerned controlling
Officer/Head of Office of the Government . The genuineness of the Certificate shall be
subjected to verification and legal action will be taken against those who issue and produce
bogus Certificate.
Probation :- Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of two
years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
Test:- Every person appointed to this post shall pass Account test for Executive officers during
the period of probation.
Liability to Serve in the Defence Service :-
Persons appointed to the post shall be liable, notwithstanding that at the time of recquisition they
are holding higher appointments, to serve for a minimum period of 4 years (including periods spent on
training) in the defence services or on assignment relating to Defence efforts any where in India or aborad, if
so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Service will be limited to the first 10 (ten) years of service
and will not ordinarily apply to persons above 40 years of age.

Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who have
registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall
click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No
application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by
clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the
personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure
correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication
with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not
be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the
notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age etc. have to
be produced as and when called for.

15. Appointments are made subject to the rank secured in the Ranked List of candidates prepared in pursuance
of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in GO.(P)No.21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and GO (P)
No 25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the
procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under Sections 3 (c), 17 (a),
17(b) of Part II of Kerala state and subordinate Service Rules, 1958.
