FIRST NCA NOTIFICATION
Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after
'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' .Candidates who have already registered can apply through
their profile.

4. No. of Vacancies : Scheduled Caste – Thiruvananthapuram – 1 (One)
Note: -
i) In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates Scheduled Tribe candidates will also
be considered.
ii) Conventional type application for the above post will be summarily rejected.
Candidates can apply through the online application facility available at the Kerala
Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc.org.
iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those
notified will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued
to these candidates.
iv) Candidates shall note the name of trade concerned in the name of post with the
application.
v) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for above Districts in pursuance of this
notification. Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall
remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies
earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of
candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post on 12/2/09
in Thiruvananthapuram district as Category No. 381/07
vi) The candidates shall submit application for the post to the district concerned where
the vacancy is in existence for their respective community and shall note the name
of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications
are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name
will be removed from the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken against
him/her.
vii)The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue District
basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (MS) No.154/71/PD dated
27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the
Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she
completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service
in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject
to the rules in G.O. (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in
Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from
applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
5. Method of appointment :- Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging Scheduled
Caste only).
6. Age Limit :- 19-41 Only SC/ST candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1993
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. This includes the
relaxation as per para 2(1) of General Condition.
Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para (2) of the General
Conditions except para 2(1)
7. Qualifications:
1. Pass in Standard VII.
2. JTSLC or ITI or KGTE or KGCE or city and guilds examination in the
concerned trade.
Note :- 1) The Certificates awarded by city and Guilds of London Institute after 31-03-1985
will not be accepted.
2) Candidates should specify the name of the trade/ branch also along with the
qualification in the application.
8. Mode of submitting applications:
Applications shall be submitted only by 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' on the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org'. Those who have
registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. No
application fee is required. Candidates can view, rectify defects and have a print-out of the
details on the registration card by clicking the link Registration Card after entrying the home
page. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of
password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in
their profile and they shall keep in mind the user Id for further communication with the
commission. Applications which once submitted not in accordance with the instructions given
in the website will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, experience ,
community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for .
9. Last date of receipt of applications :17/10/ 2012 Wednesday upto 12 midnight.
10. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, hall ticket of eligible
candidates will be made available in the website of the Kerala Public Service
Commission. Candidates are instructed to download their Admission ticket as per the
instructions in the website.
