The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission
in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list
will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or
till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the
vacancy noted above and those that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency
of the list. Subject to the availability of qualified candidates the number of candidates included in the short list
will be decided later.
Note:- 3 (Three) percentage of the vacancies are reserved to the Physically Handicapped persons. (As per the
GO (P) No119/05/SWD dated 6/8/2005 Orthopedic -upper extremities ,Lower extremities- low vision )
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
6. Age Limit : 20-39. Only candidates born between 2.1.1973 and
1.1.1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this
post. Other Backward Communities Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes are eligible for usual age relaxations.

Note:- Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Works Department, Public Health Engineering
Department, Industries Department, Architecture and Town Planning Department may also apply. They
will be allowed age relaxation to the extent of their services in those department (Maximum age limit
shall not exceed 50 years as on 1.1.2012)
Liability to Serve in the Defence Service:
Persons appointed to the post shall be liable not with standing that at the time of requisition they are
holding higher appointments, to serve for a minimum period of 4 years (including periods spent on
training) in the Defence Services or on assignments relating to Defence efforts any where in India or
abroad, if so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Services will be limited to the first 10 years
of service and will not ordinarily apply to persons above 40 years of age.
7. Qualifications:
First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and instrumentation Engineering/ technology
from a recognised University after undergoing a regular course of study.
Note:Basic qualification for the post in the order of preference.
(1) B.Tech/BE Degree in electronics and instrumentation
(2) B.Tech/BE Degree in applied electronics
Note:- percentage of marks obtained for the above mentioned examination and name of the branch of the
course should also be furnished in the column prescribed for noting the qualification for the post in the
application form.
