notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacanciesearmarked for the above mentioned communities but remain unfilled due to the paucity of

4. Qualifications :
(1) Qualifications mentioned against respective post in Column No.4 of Para 2.
 (2) Permanent Registration under Travancore Cochin Medical Council.
(Above qualifications must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application)
NOTE:
 1. DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is
 recognized by any of the University in Kerala.
 2. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted.
 3. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the
 first ten(10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in
 India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with
 defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted
 from the above compulsory Military service.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to
the communities mentioned in column No.5 of para
2 above)
Note:1) Application submitted by candidates other than the communities
mentioned above will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued
to them individually.
2) Applications received from SC candidates for the vacancies marked
for the ST community and vice versa will be considered in the absence
of candidates from the concerned community.3) Separate application need to be submitted online in each category in
case applicants desire to apply for more than one post.
6. Age Limit :-
1) 21-49 : Only candidates born between 02-01-1964 and 01-01-1992
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of
Other Backward Communities.
2) 21-50 : Only candidates born between 02-01-1963 and 01-01-1992
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of
SC/ST communities.
(Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions)
Note : For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the
General conditions except para 2(i).
7. Mode of Submitting Applications:-
Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' scheme through the
Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying
for the post. Those who have already registered can apply by logging in to their profile
using their User- ID and password. Candidates must exclusively click on the 'Apply Now'
button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying to a post. No application
fee is required. Candidates can view and print the details in the profile by clicking the link
Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the
personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must
ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for
further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and
cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Applications will be summarily rejected if
non compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to
prove Qualifications, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when
called for .
