GENERAL RECRUITMENT – DISTRICTWISE
Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after
'ONE TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their
profile.

Note :- 1. Ranked List will be prepared for Idukki District in pursuance of this
notification. The ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission
shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition
that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of new lists after
the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years
whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the
aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the
currency of the list. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked lists till the
expiry of the period of three years the duration of the ranked list shall be
extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised
from the list whichever is earlier.
2. Applications shall not be sent to more than one District in response to this
notification. If the applications are sent in violation of the above direction, and
if the candidate is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked lists
and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates shall note the
name of the District concerned in the relevant column.
3. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue
District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms)
No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in the
Revenue District from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to
another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date
of commencement of service in the former district. Evenif transfer is allowed
after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms) No.4/61/PD dated
02.01.1961.
Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in any one district
are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher
posts when notified.
4. Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment
5. Age limit : 18-36.
Only candidates born between 2.1.1977 and
1.1.1995 (both dates included)are eligible to
apply for this post. With usual relaxation to
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, Other
Backward Communities.
Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum
age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para 2 of the General Conditions
under Part II of this notification.
6. Qualifications:-
1. General :- A Pass in Pre Degree or Higher Secondary Course (+2)
2. Technical :- A pass in T.B. Health Visitors Course conducted by the T.B. Association of
India, New Delhi or any other equivalent qualification recognized by
Government of Kerala.
Note:- 1. In the absence of persons with technical qualification those with HSS certificates
in science subjects will be selected and they will be given 6 months training in the State T.B.
Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. The period of training will not count for probation or increment But
such candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the department for 10 years as Treatment
Organiser for tuberculosis programme and the stipend for 6 months ie., Rs.2480. The amount of
bonded obligation is Rs. 2480 together with a sum of Rs. 1240 as liquidated damages.
2. Probation :- Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty
be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
7. Mode of Submitting Applications:-
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post.
Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID
and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the
Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view
and have a print-out ofthe details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if
required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy
of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information
in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission.
Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted
or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of
the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove qualification, experience ,
community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for .

10. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the Selection, Hall Ticket of eligible
