Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after
'ONE TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their
profile.

Note:- (i) Applications received from candidates other than SC/ST will be rejected. Individual
communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be
issued.
(ii) The list of selected candidates published by the commission shall remain in force for a
minimum period of one year and a maximum period of 3 years provided that the said list will not
continue to be in force, if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published.
Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for special
recruitment from SC/ST and ST only during the pendency of the list .
6. Age Limit : 18 – 41 Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and
01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply to
the post.
Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be
relaxed upto 50 years but in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.
7. Qualifications
1 A pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification
2 Must possess any of the qualifications mentioned below
(a) Lower Grade Drawing Group certificate KGTE or its equivalent
(b) Second Grade certificate Secured by Draftsman (Civil) Trainees under TT
Scheme, College of Engineering or under Industrial Training centre conducted by
the Ministry of labour, Government of India after a course of 18 months.
(c) Building, Drawing and Estimating (Higher or Lower) KGTE or equivalent and
any two of the other Civil Engineering subjects under KGTE or equivalent.
(d) Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) of the Women's Polytechnics of
the state (as amended by Go (MS) No. 70/66/PW dated 24.03.1966.
(e) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering given by the Rural Institute
Thavanur (as amended by the GO (p) No. 108/85/PWE dated 27.09.1985.
(f) Vocational Higher Secondary Course certificate in Draftsmanship and quantity
surveying.
(g) Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Building Technology.

8. Mode of submitting application
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the
Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the
post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User-
ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the
Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and
have a print-out ofthe details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required.
Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password.
Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile.
They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once
submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after
submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will
be summarily rejected. Documents to prove qualification, experience , community, age etc. have
to be produced as and when called for .

11. Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3(c)
of part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this
selection.
12. Appointment are made subject to the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared
in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in GO(P) No. 25/94/GAD
dated 22.01.1994, GO (MS) No. 142/72/PD dated 13.4.1972, GO (MS) No.309/73 /PD dated
29.11.1973, GO (P) No.21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976 allowing special reservations to Scheduled
Castes and Scheduled tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to
time and subject to the rules under sections 3 (c), 17 (a), 17 (b), of part II of Kerala State and
Subordinate Service Rules 1958.
13. If a written Test/OMR Test is conducted as part of the selection, admission Ticket of
eligible candidates will be made available on the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission.
Candidates are instructed to download their admission Ticket as per the instructions on the website.
