REGISTRATION' .Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile.

Note: i) Conventional type application for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply on-line
only on www.keralapsc.org.
ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be
summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates.
iii) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for Kozhikode district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked
List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and
appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community but remain unfilled due to the paucity
of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district.

iv) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special
conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in
one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless
he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former
district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD,
dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are
prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
v) Applications shall not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are
sent in violation to the above direction and if the Candidate is selected his/her name will be removed from
the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken against him /her.
5. Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (from above mentioned reservation group of community only).
6. Age limit : 18- 43, only candidates born between 2.1.1969 and 1.1.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to
apply for this post in the case of Hindu Nadar . [Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General
Conditions.]
Note:- For concessions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except
Para 2(i) subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years.
7. Qualifications:
A degree in Hindi conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
A title of Oriental Learning in Hindi, awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala
OR
Praveen of Dakshina Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the
Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
Sahithyacharya of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner
for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent
OR
Rashtra Bhasha Visarad (RBV) of the Dakshina Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination ,
conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
A pass in Hindi Bhooshan Examination of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination
conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
'Acharya' Title of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner
for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
'Siksha Snathak' Title of the Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha (Madras) with a pass in SSLC Examination
conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
8. Special Concessions Regarding Appointment and Age Limit:
(i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(Ms)No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O.
(Ms)No.9/78/G.Edn, dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as teachers, if they
possess the prescribed qualification. Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishment are
included under the terms of Jawans. Wives of Jawans should select “Are you entitled to any priority as ‘yes’ on
online application and give the details in the space following. Such candidates should obtain proper certificates
from the officer commanding stating the name, Military rank and Military address of their husbands and produce
the same as and when required by the Commission (G.O. (Ms)No.509/64/Edn. Dated 19.09.1964, G.O.
(Ms)No.614/65/Edn. Dated 09.11.1965 and G.O (Ms)No.243/66/Edn., dated 27.05.1966).
(ii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment
as Teachers (G.O.(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn. Dated 27.05.1975).
Note:- (1) The candidates who claim concessions on the basis of any of the reason mentioned in para 2 of the
general conditions should select “Are you eligible for age relaxation” as ‘yes’ on the online
application and give details in the space following.
(2) Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
9. Last date for receipt of applications: 31.10.2012 Wednesday up to 12 midnight.
10. Mode of submitting applications
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala
Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall
apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now'
button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required.
Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if
required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password.
Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote
the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as
provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission.Applications submitted not in accordance
with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community,
age etc. have to be produced as and when called for .

12. If a written Test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection Hall Ticket of eligible candidates will be
made available in the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission . Candidates are instructed to download
their Hall ticket as per the instruction in the website.
Note :- Candidates shall take a print out (receipt) of their submitted application and retain the same with the barcode
number for further reference and communication.
