Note:(
i) In the absence of suitable candidates the vacancies set apart for By
Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the
Ranked List prepared for direct recruitment.
(ii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/full number of the
Kerala Education subordinate services
(iii) Separate Ranked list will be prepared for each district in pursuance of
this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the
Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year,
subject to the conditions that the said lists will continue to be in force till
the publication of new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one
year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will
be advised for appointment against the vacancies if any, reported during
the currency of the list. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked
list till the expiry of the period of three years the duration of the ranked
list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one
candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier.
(iv) Candidates Should submit applications for this post to the concerned
District and should note the name of that District against the relevant
column of the online application. Application should not be sent to more
than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent
contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected his/her name
will be removed from the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken
against him/her.
(v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue
District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(MS)
No.154/71/PD dated, 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in
one Revenue district from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for
transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous
service from the date of commencement of service in the former district.
Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in
GO(MS) No. 4/61/PD dated, 2.1.1961. But as per the G.O.
(P)No.12/96/P&ARD dated, 16.03.1996 the condition of 5 years service
is not applicable for transfer to the districts of Idukki, Wayanad &
Kasaragod. This concession will be available only for getting transfer to
these districts, but not for getting transfer out of thsese districts. And
this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government
servant. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same
post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post,
but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
(v) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in
Article 14 to 17 in part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Services
Rules are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.

1) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government
Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
A Pass in Pre-Degree Examination conducted by any of the Universities in
Kerala or any Examinations recognized by any such universities in Kerala as
equivalent to Pre-Degree Examination
OR
A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher
Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by
Government as equivalent thereto.
AND
2) A pass in T.T.C Examination conducted by the commissioner for Government
Examinations, Kerala.
3) 5 years Service as Clerk/Typist /Attender/Peon in the Education Department as
on the date of application. (G.O (Ms) No.8/2009/G.Edn dated 20.01.2009)
Special Note:-
(i) B.Ed Certificate will not be considered in lieu of TTC
(ii) Candidates who have not studied the Regional language Malayalam
either under part I or Part II as medium of instruction of SSLC will not be
eligible for appointment to the post.( G.O (Rt) No.534/02/G.Edn
dated19.03.2002, G.O. (Ms)44/75/G.Edn dated 29.01. 1975)
(iii) Question papers for the written test if any, will be in Malayalam. The candidates
should answer questions in Malayalam.
8 Documents to prove qualification, date of birth and Service have to be produced
as and when called for. No copies of documents should be attached with the
application. Applicants should obtain a Service Certificate in the form prescribed
below from the Head of Office/Department and produce as and when called for.

these districts, but not for getting transfer out of thsese districts. And
this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government
servant. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same

but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
