5 Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among
Scheduled Tribes only).

Only Candidates born between 02.01.1966 and 01.01.1992
(including both the dates) are eligible to apply for this post.
(No other age relaxation will be allowed)
Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be
relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
7 Qualifications:
1) A pass in Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the branch concerned after
undergoing a regular course of study from a recognized University.
2) Minimum of three years experience in teaching as Lecturer in
Government/Government aided or AICTE approved polytechnic Colleges.

2. All Experience Certificates shall be duly certified by the concerned Controlling
Officer/Head of Office of the Government. The Genuineness of the Certificate shall be subjected to

8. Probation : -
Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on
duty within a continuous period of three years.
9. Test :- Every person appointed to the post shall pass Account Test for Executive Officers during the
period of probation.
10. Liability to Serve in the Defence Services :-
Persons appointed to the post shall be liable, notwithstanding that at the time of recqisition
they are holding higher appointments, to serve for a minimum period of 4 years (including periods
spent on training) in the defence services on assignment relating to Defence efforts any where in India
or abroad, if so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Services will be limited to the first 10
(ten) years of service and will not ordinarily apply to persons above 40 years of age.

Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and
subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate
Service Rules, 1958.
16 If a written Test/OMR Test is conducted as part of the Selection, admission Ticket of eligible
