Note : The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List Published as per this notification will be valid until
candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above community, but remain
unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List, published on 07-12-2009 for the
posts. This is the Second NCA Notification in respect of the Viswakarma Community and the same is issued
due to non availability of sufficient number of qualified applicants in response to First NCA Notification as
per Category No: 340/ 11, Gazette date- 14-10-2011
5 Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
Note: (Only candidates belonging to reservation group mentioned in this notification) Application submitted by
candidates belonging to other communities will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them
individually.
6. Age : 22-40 . Only candidates, born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1990(both
dates included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual relaxation
to Other Backward Communities.

7 Qualifications
(1) Master's Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent and good academic
record.
(2) Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by
UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are being
equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note:-
(i)
For SC/ST Candidates minimum 50% marks for Master's Degree shall be sufficient.(G.O(MS)No.2/07/
(H.Edn. Dated 4.1.2007)
(ii) For Ph.D Holders who have passed Master’s Degree Prior to 19.9.1991 50% marks for master’s Degree
Shall be sufficient. (GO (MS) 2/07/H.Edn. Dated 4-1-2007)
(iii) Candidates who have obtained ‘PHD’ Degree in the subject concerned or have passed M.Phil Degree in
the subject concerned by 31-12-1993 are exempted from passing the NET examination (GO. (MS)No
86/07/H.Edn. Dated 19/6/07, GO (P) NO. 123/02/H.Edn. Dated 17.9.2002.
(iv) For recruitment to various posts under these rules Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC
alone shall be considered.
8. Method of submitting Applications :
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala
Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall
apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now'
button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates
can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required.
Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying
for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for
further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and
