Note:- i Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall

ii Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than
those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued.
iii Separate Ranked list will be prepared for Kasaragod district in pursuance of this
notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification
shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the
vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity
of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the
following district.

Kasaragod 08.10.2010 64/2006iv Reservation community candidates shall submit application for the post to
Kasaragod district office where the vacancy is existing and note the name of that
district against the relevant column of the online application.
v The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district
basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(Ms)No.154/71/PD dated,
27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the
Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district. Even if
transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in
GO(MS)No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government
service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for
this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to LC / AI,
SIUC Nadar, OX communities only)
6. Age Limit : 18-43 – Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and
01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this
post in the case of LC/AI, SIUC Nadar and OX
18-45 – only candidates born between 02.01.1968 &
01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this
post in the case of OX candidates who have converted to
Christianity from SC Communities after attaining the age of 18
years and children of such parents.

7. Qualifications: 1. A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for
Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities
in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities as
equivalent to Pre-degree examination.
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of
Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other examinations,
recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.
2. A pass in TTC (Kannada) Examination conducted by the Commissioner
for Government Examinations, Kerala.
Special Note:-a. In the absence of candidates with TTC (Kannada) of Kerala, candidates
with TCH (Mysore) shall be considered for appointment.
b. B.Ed. Degree holders need not apply for this post.
c. Question paper for the written test, if any, will be in Kannada. The
candidates should answer the questions in Kannada.
(i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS)No.50/70/PD
dated 12.02.70 and G.O.(MS)No.9/78/G.Edn. dated 21.01.78 to the
wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they
possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and
those working in Base establishment are included under the term
Jawans. Wives of Jawans shall select 'Are you entitle to any
priority' as 'yes' on online application and give the details in the
space that follows. Such candidates should obtain proper
certificates from the Officer commanding stating the name, Military
rank and Military address of their husband and produce the same as

ii First Class Scouts and Guides will be give preference in the matter of
appointment as Teachers (G.O.(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn. Dated

 Note:- The candidates who claim concession by virtue of any of the above reason
shall select “Are you eligible for age relaxation” as “yes” on the online
application and give details in the space following. Otherwise the
applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged
candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as per rule shall not
exceed 50 years of age. (See para 2 of General Conditions)
9. Last date for receipt of application : 04/09/2013 Wednesday upto 12.00 midnight
10 Mode of submitting application:-
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission '' before applying for the
post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their
User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective
posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required.
Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link
Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal
information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure
correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further
communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as
provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications
submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily
