Note: (i) Separate ranked lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification.
The ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force for
a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said lists will continue to
be in force till the publication of new lists after the expiry of the minimum period of one
year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for
appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any,
reported during the currency of the list.
(ii) Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification.
If applications are sent contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her
name will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against
him/her.
(iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis,
subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated
27/05/1971. candidates advised for appointment in one revenue district from the
Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she
completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the
former district. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years it will be subject to the rules in
G.O.(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02/01/1961. Candidates already in Government service
holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post .
But they can apply to higher post, when notified
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
6. Age Limit:- 19-36 Born between 02.01.1976 and 1.1.1993( both dates included) with usual
relaxation to scheduled caste/Scheduled tribe, Other Backward Communities .
NOTE: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age
limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Please see para 2 of the General Conditions under
Part II of this notification.
7. Qualifications: -
(a) Must possess the minimum general educational qualification of SSLC standard with
minimum aggregate marks of 40% or equivalent qualification.
Note :- (1) Every person appointed to the post shall from the date from which he joins duty be
on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
(2) Every person selected for appointment to this post shall undergo training for a
period of 6 (six) months in one of the Extension Training Centres in the state before
appointment to the post. The training of candidates will be terminated in the event of his
conduct being unsatisfactory or in case he is found to be inefficient during the period of
training. The candidates will be appointed to the posts only if they satisfactorily complete
the training course. The rank and seniority of the persons selected to the post will be
decided according to the order in which their names appear in the advice list furnished by
the PSC . In the event if candidates does not complete the training within the stipulated
period or does not pass in the first chance the rank and seniority will be altered on the basis
of the date of advice and the date of successful completion of training. The period of training
shall not be counted for probation.
(3) Every person to be appointed to the post will be required to execute a bond agreeing to
serve the State Government for a period of 3 years after the training and reimburse
liquidated damages to the extent Rs 1000/- in addition to the amount actually spent for the
training in case they violate the term of agreement provided further that the terms of bond
shall not be insisted on in respect of a person who leaves state Government service for
taking up appointment under the central Government service for or under an organisation
wholly or substantially financed and controlled either by the Government of India or by
the State Government.
8 Mode of submitting applications
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website
of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who
have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password.
Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for
applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the
details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for
the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post,
candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID
