Commission after 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered
can apply through their profile.

Note: i) Conventional type application for the above post will be summarily rejected.
Candidates can apply on-line only on www.keralapsc.gov.in
 ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than
those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to
such candidates.
 iii) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this
notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission
shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the
vacancies earmarked for the above community but remain unfilled due to the
paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the
post in the following districts.

 iv) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district
basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD,
dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district
from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless
he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement
of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will
be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates
already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited
from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when
notified.
 v) Applications shall not be sent to more than one district in response to this
notification. If applications are sent in violation to the above direction and if the
Candidate is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked list and
disciplinary action will be taken against him /her.
5. Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (from above mentioned reservation
 group of community only). In the absence of Scheduled
 Caste candidates; the applications of Scheduled Tribe
 candidates will be considered.
6. Age limit : 18- 45. In the case of Scheduled Caste Community only candidates born
between 2.1.1968 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply
for the post.
 : 18 – 43. Only candidates born between 2.1.1970 and 1.1.1995 (both dates
included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of
Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya and Dheevara communities. (Including the
relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions).
Note:- For concessions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the
General Conditions except Para 2(i) subject to the condition that the
maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years.
7. Qualifications:
 A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
 OR
 A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the
Universities in Kerala.
 OR A pass in S.S.L.C. Examination, Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic
 Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government
 Examinations, Kerala.
 OR
 (a) A pass in SSLC Examination Kerala or its equivalent, and
 (b) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner
 for Government Examinations Kerala.
 OR
 Arabic Preliminary Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities.
 OR
 Pass in Pre-Degree Examination in Part III Arabic (Special Optional)
 from the Calicut University.
8. Special Concessions Regarding Appointment and Age Limit:
 (i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(Ms)No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970
and G.O.(Ms)No.9/78/G.Edn, dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter
of recruitment as teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualification. Soldiers in
active service and those working in Base establishment are included under the terms
of Jawans. Wives of Jawans should select “Are you entitled to any priority as ‘yes’
on online application and give the details in the space following. Such candidates
should obtain proper certificates from the officer commanding stating the name,
Military rank and Military address of their husbands and produce the same as and
when required by the Commission (G.O. (Ms)No.509/64/Edn. Dated 19.09.1964,
G.O.(Ms)No.614/65/Edn. Dated 09.11.1965 and G.O (Ms)No.243/66/Edn., dated
27.05.1966).
 (ii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment
 as Teachers (G.O.(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn. Dated 27.05.1975).
 Note:- (i) The candidates who claim concessions on the basis of any of the reason
mentioned in para 2 of the general conditions should select “Are you
eligible for age relaxation” as ‘yes’ on the online application and give
details in the space following.
 (ii) Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc. have to be
produced as and when called for.
9. Last date for receipt of applications: …31/07/2013 Wednesday up to 12 midnight.
10. Mode of submitting applicationsCandidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' sytem on the
Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www,keralapsc.gov.in' before
applying the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile
using their User – ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of
the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No
application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the
profile if required by clicking the link Registration Card. Candidates are responsible for
the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a
post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must
quote the User-Id for further communication with the Commission. Applications once
submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after
submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the
notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community,
age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.

12. If a written Test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection Hall Ticket of
eligible candidates will be made available in the website of the Kerala Public
Service Commission . Candidates are instructed to download their Hall ticket as
per the instruction in the website.
Note :- Candidates shall take a print out (receipt) of their submitted application and retain
the same with the barcode number for further reference and communication.
