FIRST NCA NOTIFICATION
 Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after
'ONE TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their
profile.

The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this
notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the above vacancies
earmarked for the above mentioned Communities but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates in
the ranked list published on 19.08.2012.
5 Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (from among candidates of the above
mentioned reservation Communities only)

 18-29. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and
01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for
this post in the case of Viswakarma and OX.
18-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and
01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for
this post in the case of SC/ST and also OX candidates who
have converted to Christianity from SC communities after
attaining eighteen years and children of such parents.
 NOTE:- Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the above mentioned reservation
communities will be summarily rejected and individual rejection memo will not be sent to
those candidates.
7 Qualifications :1) Must have passed S.S.L.C or equivalent examination
2) Must possess current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods
vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle.
NOTE:- The candidates should have current driving licence throughout all stages of the selection
process, ie. on the last date of receipt of applications, on the date of OMR test, on the date of physical
efficiency test, interview date,etc.

NOTE:- Must be certified to possesses the visual standards specified above without glasses.
Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of a
Civil Surgeon Grade II as to their physique, fitness and capacity for rough outdoor work and also of
the visual standards at the time of physical efficiency test.
5) Physical Efficiency Test:- Candidates must qualify in atleast 5 out of 8 items in the
physical efficiency test showing the minimum standard of
efficiency as noted below.

NOTE:-
1 Women and physically handicapped persons are not eligible to apply for the post.
2 A physical efficiency test will be conducted by the Commission to assess the
physical standards and suitability of the candidates for the arduous nature of
work.
Preferential:- Other conditions being equal, the Home Guard Volunteers who have completed a
tenure of three years in that organizations and who have satisfactorily undergone
training in Fire Fighting during the period of tenure shall be treated as having
preferential qualification for recruitment to this post.
Probation:- Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty
after he completes the training and examination will be on probation for a total
period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
Training:- Selected candidates should undergo a course of training for a period of 4 months
in the State Fire Service Training School, and pass the examination in the subject
prescribed for the course.
NOTE:- A written and practical test will be conducted at the close of training. Those who
fails to qualify themselves at the test, will have their training extended for a
period of one month at the end of which they will be tested again in the subjects
in which they have failed. Those who fail to qualify themselves in the re-test will
be discharged from the service.
BOND:- Every person appointed to the post shall compulsory serve in the Department for
5 years after completion of training. He shall execute a bond intending to serve
for a period of not less than 5 years and shall pay to Government a sum of
Rs.2700 in case he fails to serve in the department for the said period.
8. Mode of submitting applications :-

for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using
their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective
posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required.
Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link
Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personalinformation and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure

communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as
provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications
