remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be
in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or

Note :- (1) The genuineness of the certificate will be subjected to verification and if
found bogus, legal action will be taken against the authorities who issued
and the candidates who produce the certificate.
 (2) The experience certificate produced from institution other than Government
should be got countersigned by the controlling authority/Administrative
authority of the Government Department who is authorized to inspect the
institution.
6. Age limit : 1. For Recruitment By-Transfer : No upper age limit is
prescribed for recruitment By-Transfer.
: 2. For Direct Recruitment : 22-40. Only candidates born
between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1991 (both dates included) are
eligible to apply. Usual relaxations in upper age limit shall be
allowed to SC/ST/OBC Candidates.
7. Qualifications:- For Recruitment by Transfer and Direct Recruitment
 1 Masters Degree in the concerned subject with atleast 50% marks or its
 equivalent and good Academic records. (G.O(P) No. 115/2008/H.Edn.

2 M.Ed Degree with not less than 55% marks with knowledge of special
 methods of teaching the subjects. (G.O (P) No.115/2008/H.Edn.

3 Three years teaching experience in School or Colleges after acquiring the Professional qualifications.
4 Must have passed the comprehensive test specifically conducted for the
 purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government
 in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal preference shall be
 given to candidates to possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note :- (1) Lecturers in Physical Science shall possess M.Sc degree in Physics or Chemistry
and Lecturers in Natural Science shall possess M.Sc degree in Botany or Zoology.
These two categories of Lecturers must possess specialization in methods of teaching
Physical Science and methods of teaching Natural Science respectively.
(2) The qualifications prescribed for appointment to various categories under the
heading, “Class II Training Colleges”, in special Rules shall stand revised in
accordance with that fixed by the 'UGC/State Government form time to time.
(3) The Educational qualification prescribed shall not be insisted in the case of
those who were in service before that date of publication of the Kerala Collegiate
Education Service (Amendment)Special Rules, 2008.
(4) For Recruitment to various posts of lecturers Degrees awarded by the
Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
Exemptions :-
1. The Candidates who have passed M.Phil Degree by 31.12.1993 are exempted
form possession of NET. (GO (P) No. 123/2002/H.Edn. Dated : 17.09.2002)
2. The Candidates having Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted form
NET. (GO (P) No. 86/07/H.Edn. Dated : 19.06.2007)
Reservation : Rules of reservation provided under rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS & SSR 1958
are not applicable in the case of recruitment by-transfer from Head
Masters, HSAS and HSST Teachers.
8. Mode of submitting Applications:
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post.
Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and
password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification
link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out
of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are
responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of the password. Before
applying for a post, candidates must ensure the correctness of the information on their profile. They
shall quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted
will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission.
Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily
rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when
called for .
