FIRST NCA NOTIFICATION
Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after
'ONE TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their
profile.

2. Name of Post : Live Stock Inspector Gr. II/Poultry Assistant/Milk Recorder/
Store Keeper/Enumerator
3. Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,480 – 18,300/-
4. Number of Vacancies : District Wise
Scheduled Caste - Kannur – 1 (One)
Note: (i) In the absence of qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste communities,
candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered.
(ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than Scheduled
Caste/ Scheduled Tribe will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued.
(iii) Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this
notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall
remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies
earmarked for the above mentioned community but remain unfilled due to paucity of
candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the above post in the
date undermentioned below.

subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated
27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the
Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she
completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the
former District. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in
G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. But as per G.O(P)12/96/P&ARD dated
16.03.1996, the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for the transfer to the
Districts of Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. This concession will be available only for
getting transfer into these districts, but not for getting transfer out of these districts and
this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant.
Candidates already in Government Service holding the post in any one district are
prohibited from applying for the same post in another District, but they can apply to
higher posts when notified.
5. Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled
Caste only)
6. Age Limit : 18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates
included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxation in para 2(i)
of Part II, General Conditions)
Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum
age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the general conditions
under part II of this Notification, except para 2(i).
7. Qualifications:-
A pass in VHSE with Live Stock Management as main subject.
Note:- Physically disabled candidates are not eligible for appointment to the post.
8. Method of Appointment:-
(1) Candidates recruited by the Commission shall be appointed to the service provisionally
and they shall undergo the Stockman training course/Livestock Inspector training
course. After the successful completion of training, their provisional appointment willbe regularized from the date of first appointment treating their training period as regular
service. Those who do not complete the course successfully in the first attempt shall be
allowed three more chances to complete the course successfully. In the case of
candidates who fail to complete the course successfully even in the fourth attempt, their
provisional appointment shall be terminated and they shall be discharged from service.
There shall be no re-ranking of candidates based on the marks secured by them during
the training.
(2) Candidates selected will have to execute a bond in the prescribed form to serve the
Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 5 years after the regular appointment.
Those who leave the service in between or during training are liable to pay for the
damage if any fixed by the Government.
(3) Each trainee will have to produce a certificate (in original) of Physical Fitness from
a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon as and when called for by
the Commission.
9. Last date for receipt of Application: 04/09//2013 Wednesday upto 12.00 Midnight.
10. Mode of Submitting Application:-
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post.
Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and
password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the
Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and
have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required.
Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of
password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in
their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission.
Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or
altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the
notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove qualification, community, age etc.
have to be produced as and when called for.11. If a Written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, Hall Ticket of eligible
candidates will be made available in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission.
