Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after 'ONE
TIME REGISTRATION'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile.

Note:- The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification
will be valid till candidates are advised and appointed against the above vacancies earmarked for Scheduled
Caste, Scheduled Tribe community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency
of the Ranked List published on 14/07/2008 (Gazette dated 15/01/2007 Category No.3/2007). The IIIrd NCA
Notification is issued due to the non availability to sufficient number of candidates in response to the
notifications issued as per Category No.302/09(Gazette date 30/07/2009)and Category No.15/11(Gazette
dated 31/03/2011)respectively.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe
Community. In the absence of qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates application
of Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered and vice versa.
Note:- The applications submitted by candidates from communities other than the above communities will
be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually
6. Age limit : SC-ST :-18-44, ie only candidates born between
01/01/1995 and 02/01/1969 (both dates included) are eligible to apply
for the post.

7. Qualifications:-
1. Degree in Veterinary Science
2. Registration with the Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Act,
1984(Central Act of 52 of 1984)
3. Working knowledge in Malayalam
Note:-
i) Relaxation from the above qualification under item 3 shall be allowed to
persons belonging to Linguistic Minorities in the state subject to the condition that they shall pass
the Language Test in Malayalam as provided in Clause (aaaa) of Rule 10 of Part II of the Kerala
State and Subordinate Service Rules,1958 ii) Working knowledge in Malayalam will be assessed by
the Commission during the course of selection Training:-
1 Candidates on appointment as Veterinary Surgeon Gr.II shall undergo
within the period of probation, the training course conducted by the
Animal Husbandry Department and the period of such training shall be
treated as duty for the purpose of probation.
2 Persons in the Animal Husbandry Subordinate Service who have
worked as Livestock Assistants for a period of not less than 5 years
shall be exempted from undergoing the training
3 Persons who have undergone the B.Vsc and Animal Husbandry course
with an inbuilt programme of internship training conducted by the
Kerala Agricultural University or any other Agricultural University
shall be exempted from undergoing the training.
8. Mode of submitting Application:-
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala
Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have
registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall
click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No
application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking
the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal
information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the
information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission.
Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered
after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be
summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age etc. have to be produced as and
when called for.
