Note:- The above Vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List of selected candidates published
by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum
period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force, if a new list after
the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published. Recruitment will be made for the
above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment (for ST only )
during the pendency of the list.
5 Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among
Scheduled Tribes only).
Note:- Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected.
Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason
will not be issued.
6 Age : 20 – 45.
Only Candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1993
(including both the dates) are eligible to apply for this post. (No
other age relaxation will be allowed)
Note:- (1)In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be
relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
(2) Relaxation in upper age limit upto 42 (Forty Two) Years as on the First day of January
2012 shall be allowed to the Qualified ministerial staff under Higher Secondary
Education Department for Direct recruitment.
7 Qualifications:
I. Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned subject/M.Tech Degree
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology/Software
Engineering with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University.
OR
Master's Degree in Computer Application/Master's Degree in Computer Science or
Information Technology with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University.
2. In the absence of qualified candidates in item (1) above B.Tech/Bachelor of Engineering
Degree with not less than 50% marks in any branch of study with Computer
Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a reognised University.
OR
B.Tech/Bachelor of Engineering Degree with not less than 50% marks in any branch of
study with Post graduate Diploma in Computer Application from recognised University
or Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology / Institute of Human Resource
Development or Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited.

Probation :-
OR
Masters Degree with not less than 50% marks in Mathematics/Physics with post
Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised University/Institute of
Human Resources Development/Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology
or Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited.
OR
M.Tech degree with not less than 50% marks in Electronics and
Telecommunication/Electronics engineering from a recognised University.
OR
B.Sc Degree in Computer Science with not less than 50% marks and post Graduate
diploma in Computer Application from a recognised University or Lal Bahadur Sastri
Centre for Science and Technology/Institute of Human Resources Development or
Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited.
OR
M.Sc Statistics with not less than 50% marks with post Graduate Diploma in Computer
application from a recognised University.
Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on
probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three
years.
Note:- Higher Secondary School Teacher means Full-Time post of Higher Secondary School
Teacher.
9 Method of Submitting application:
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of
Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates
who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password.
Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for
applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out ofthe
details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible
for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post,
candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-
ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received
as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications
submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected.

13. Appointment are made subject to the rank secured in the Ranked List of candidates prepared in
pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated,
17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to
Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and
subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate
Service Rules, 1958.
14 If a written Test/OMR Test is conducted as part of the Selection, admission Ticket of eligible
candidates will be made available on the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission,
Candidates are instructed to download their admission Tickets as per the instructions on the
website.
