Applications are invited online only by `One Time Registration' from qualified candidates
for the under mentioned post. Candidates shall apply only through the online facility provided in
the website of Kerala Public Service Commission.

The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification,
shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, provided that the said list will
continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period
of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised
from the said list against the vacancies noted above and the vacancies that may be reported to
the Commission in writing during the currency of the lists.
5. Method of appointment :- Direct Recruitment.
6. Age Limit :- 21-44. Only candidates born between 2.1.1970 and 1.1.1993
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post

Conditions].

7. Qualifications :-
1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering awarded by the State
Board of Technical Education (3 year course).
OR
Any qualification in either of the above disciplines declared as equivalent to the above
diplomas by the Central Government or State Government.
KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
3. Working experience of at least 1 (One) year in a reputed (Govt. approved) automobile
workshop which undertake repairs of both Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles
and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle fitted with Petrol and Diesel Engines.

4. Must hold a current valid driving licence authorizing him to drive Motor Cycle, Heavy
Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles.
Note: Candidates shall possess a current Driving Licence throughout all the stages of
selection process as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Interview
etc. 5. The candidates must be physically fit and shall possess the following minimum physical
standards:-
(i) Height : 165 cms for male candidates and 152 cms for female
candidates
(ii) Chest : 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms
(applicable to male candidates only)
Note:- For candidates belonging to Schedule Caste or Scheduled Tribe, the
minimum height shall be 160 cms for male candidates and 150 cms for female
candidates.
(iii) Visual Standards : Must possess the Visual Standards specified below
without glasses.

Note:-
1. (a) Each eye must have a full field of vision.
 (b) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the Eyes or lids of either
eye shall be a disqualification for appointment.
Note 2. Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate in original in the following
format, obtained from a Medical officer under the Government not below the
rank of an Assistant Surgeon specialized in Ophthalmology of a Government
Hospital when the Commission intimates.

Note: Details regarding standards of vision should be clearly stated in the Certificate as given
above and vague statement such as Vision Normal/average etc will not be accepted.
Specification for each eye should be stated separately. If the specification are not as indicated
above, the officer issuing the Certificate should certify whether the candidate has got better
standards of vision or worse standards of vision as the case may be, otherwise the Certificate
will not be accepted.
Note 3:- Physically Handicapped candidates shall not be eligible for applying to the post.
Note 4: Experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the basic
qualifications prescribed. The candidates should claim their qualification and
experience specifically in the application.

9. Mode of submitting Applications :-
 Candidates must register as per “ ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official
Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the
post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to the `Apply Now' button of
the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. No application fee is
required. Candidates can view and have a printout of the details on the registration card by
clicking the link Registration Card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible
for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final
submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure the correctness of the
information on their profile. They must quote their User Id for further communication with
the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered on
after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the
